 Class Descriptions
Everday Yoga A classic yoga experience that emphasizes body aligning movements and mindful relaxation. Through awareness of stretching, strengthening, breathing, meditation and diet students bring a healthy vitality to their joints, muscles and organs and develop peace of mind. This a fun and rejuvenating class that will change your life.
Gentle Yoga This class is designed for students who are concerned about the demands and pace of a regular yoga class. A chair and other props are used to accomodate students with physical restrictions or limited mobility. Emphasis is on stretching and on increasing strength, flexibility and balance. Through conscious breathing and meditation this restorative and therapeutic practice will bring a powerful healing energy into your life.
Young Yoga This fun and playful class is a great introduction to yoga concepts for children and teens. Students learn how to breathe deeply, focus their mind, and control their bodies. Through interactive games and activities, young people develop awareness of self and their interconnectedness to others. Increased confidence and reduced stress help growing yogis cope with the obstacles in their daily lives.
Vinyasa This style of yoga builds strength and endurance, increases flexibility, and develops self-awareness. Breath and movement link together in continuous 'flows' of poses that are vigorous and physically demanding. Though modified poses and rate of flow can accommodate students at all levels, previous yoga experience is recommended. Take your yoga to the next level and rise to the challenge!
